We are Cathal (Irish), Mara (Spanish–Italian, born in Germany), and our two children, Leonardo and Angelo (5 and 1).
We are an international family that found our home in Mallorca 10 years ago, after living in Ireland and throughout Spain.
Our finca is a place we have lovingly created as a place to switch off and reconnect and we continue to enjoy it together with our children who bring energy, laughter, and a constant reminder to slow down and enjoy the simple things in life.
Whilst our finca is a very family-friendly space, it is also a place where we enjoy the quiet evenings as a couple, with a glass of wine, when everything slows down and the finca feels at its most peaceful.
Restoring this authentic Mallorcan stone countryhouse has been a personal journey for us. We wanted to offer a place that reflects the traditional architecture whilst offering refined comfort and an immersive countryside experience.

PS; Finca Es Codolar got its name, as round shaped stones can be found in the torrent surrounding the finca, that come down from the mountains on heavy rainy days. "Es Codolar" is Mallorquin for "Round Stone"
